Digital Citizenship

Quotes from the course:

It is not just a case of telling people how to adapt their behaviour to fit the world as it is. It is also important to find out from young people how the world should be changed, rather than leaving the shaping of laws and regulations to people who did not grow up with the Internet, and are trying to fit it in to a pre-Internet corset - rather like the first English laws on cars, that limited them to the speed of a horse-drawn carriage.

That's what we tried to do in - get young people to teach policy-makers what they had learned from growing up with the Internet.

E-democracy is at least half of digital citizenship.
